Table Officers 
 The following list of officers and duties is meant to provide an indication of the duties incumbent on the holder of the office. It is not meant to be an exhaustive list, nor do the duties listed represent the only tasks for the officer during the Table year.

OFFICER

Responsibilities and Duties

Chairman   Table Officer

  1. Leads the meetings and gives direction to Table.
  2. Acts as Table spokesman in public or charter occasions
  3. Acts as a signatory for Table accounts
  4. Trustee for Table Charity

Membership     (Vice-Chairman)

  1. Responsible for contacting likely new members. Ensuring such are kept informed of events
  2. Stands in for Chairman when he is unavailable.

House

  1. Books the venues for meetings, ensures that sufficient seats have been reserved for meals.
  2. To ensure that visitors are suitably welcomed, introduced to the chairman and other members and generally looked after Guests.
  3. Organises a raffle for post Business meetings

Secretary  Table Officer

  1. Responsible for Table communication.
  2. Records and published minutes of meetings.
  3. Ensures Table rules and traditions are upheld during meetings
  4. Trustee for Table Charity.

TreasurerTable Officer

  1. Responsible for Table accounts
  2. Acts as a signatory for Table accounts
  3. Trustee for Table Charity

Fellowship

  1. To be responsible for the social functions of Table including interactions with 41 club.

Programme

  1. Plans, organises and arranges (with help from House) the Table directory.

Community Service

  1. To study local affairs and to present reports to the Table on local needs when necessary.
  2. To provide delegates or representatives to other organisations when called upon to do so by Table.
  3. To carry into effect any community service project decided upon by Table.
  4. To consider, when appropriate, Area and National appeals and WoCo Club to Club projects which are publicised.

Fund Raising

  1. To consider ways of raising money and organising events in order to raise money as necessary to finance community service projects and appeals.
  2. To consider ways of raising money and organising events if necessary to raise money for Tables own general fund. When Table proposes to raise monies which are not intended to be used for charitable purposes then those monies shall be sought specifically for that purpose from Tablers, Ex-Tablers and their guests or through sponsorship provided the non-charitable purpose is stated by the sponsor.
